The BMW M4, upon its launch, came with two clearly distinct color options: Austin Yellow and Yas Marina Blue. While the BMW M Department doesn’t offer a lot of color choices for these vehicles (prompting owners to dive into the rather expensive Individual Color options selection), these two posed as great finishes for the high-performance coupe. For the most part, Yas Marina Blue is a more tamed, understated color option that gives the M4 both an appealing and kind of underwhelming look – but striking at the same time.
Powered by the 3.0 Liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine, the BMW F80 M3 relies on 425 horsepower and 486lb-ft of torque in order to achieve impressive driving dynamics. For example, the BMW M4 of this generation will sprint from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 4.1 seconds – when equipped with the optional DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) – and go all the way to an electronically limited top speed of 155mph (250km/h) rather fast.
This Yas Marina Blue BMW M4 comes from TAG Motorsports. It features a few aftermarket modifications that further accentuate its aggressive nature. Namely, a set of HRE Performance Wheels was installed, alongside a drop and some carbon fiber additions. The wheels, HRE’s R101 lightweight motorsport-inspired forged wheels, come sized 20×8.5 in the front and 20×10.5 in the rear. Featuring a Tinted Brushed Finish, they add an unmistakable accentuating touch to this M4. Dropped on a set of coilovers, the stance of the M4 is greatly improved, giving the car an aggressive overall look.
Finally, a carbon fiber front lip spoiler, rear diffuser, and a rear decklid spoiler were installed. Simple, but elegant finishing touches. You can grab a detailed look at this build in the media gallery right below.
